Enhance the nighttime routine with marmas
Aveda is reintroducing marma therapy to combine the ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with product innovation to relieve tension and restore the appearance of the eyes and skin. It is believed that there are at least 107 marma points on the body. The major points correspond to the seven chakra energy centers, the combined currents branch out to the meridian channels that connect to the major organs and body systems. From there, the energy channels branch out even more until every living cell from the body has direct access to the acceding and descending energy currents. There are many different approaches for activating the marma points. Aveda collaborated with Drs. Upadhyay, Ayuvedic physicians and Aveda consultants, to create unique approach for demonstrating our to activate each marma points.
