Get the look of mystery with the ‘ombre eye’ as created by Janell Geason, Aveda Global Artistic Director for Makeup. This look, created for the Autumn/Winter 2016 Leanne Marshall collection, uses a variety of warm hues for a deep intensity of color that flourishes from lash line to brow. 

“The woman that wears this look is beautifully strong,” Geason says. “The lids are coated with dusky matte shadows that diffuse into burgundy with a glowing touch of sheen.”



OMBRE EYES, Steps To The Look:


Step 1: Create a luminous, clean complexion with Inner Light™ Mineral Tinted Moisture and Inner Light™ Concealer where needed.  Set lightly with Inner Light™ Mineral Loose Powder.

Step 2: Prep eyelids withInner Light™ Concealer.

Step 3: On the eyelid, apply the dark shade of Petal Essence™ Eye Color Trio in Plum Mist; on the mid brow, apply the medium shade of Petal Essence™ Eye Color Trio in Copper Haze. On the brow bone apply the gold color of Petal Essence™ Eye Color Trio in Aqua Pearl.

Step 5: Line the lower lash line with Petal Essence™ Eye Definer in Black Orchid.

Step 6: Apply two coats of Mosscara™ Black Forest to the upper and lower lashes.

Step 7: Fill in brows, if needed, with Petal Essence™ Eye Color Trio in Gobi Sands with brow brush.
